Artist’s Statement

I have always enjoyed the creative process.  In addition to being a vehicle of expression and a great source of enjoyment, art is a means of healing ourselves and facilitating the healing in others.  I have worked in a variety of media, including printmaking, pen and ink, colored pencils and markers, watercolors, acrylics and oils.  My favorite themes include Judaica, landscapes, leaves and doves.  I also enjoy exploring the abstract.

In addition to being an artist, I am also the Executive Director of the Park Labrea Arts Council.  Together with the Founder/Director, J. Pasqual Bettio, F.R.P.S. and volunteer members, we put on a variety of community events.  For more information about upcoming events, please see Park Labrea Arts Council events or call the Park Labrea Arts Council, (323) 549-5583.

I want to let everyone know about the magic of art at the Park Labrea Arts Council and Art Center.  My life has changed since I’ve joined the Wonderful World of Artography.  As an artist, I’ve been able to exhibit my works and create an image I did not have before.  My sincere thanks to J. Pasqual Bettio for all his inspiration.  I know all his artists feel the same.
